We had a visitor arrive last night. His name is Red and he's an elf.......real creative name, I know......but Allie chose it! He also came with a book which explains that he is here to keep an eye on Allie to make sure she's good then, every night, while she is sleeping he'll report back to Santa!! You never quite know where Red is going to pop up.......the only catch is.....you {kids} can't touch him or his magic won't work!!
Red magically arrived on our mantel.
Allie spotted him and CANNOT stand that she can't touch him. :)

Allie took the story to heart.....she thought if she went to sleep right then.....which lasted about 10 seconds........Red would go tell Santa how good she was....

That is hilarious! Yea, the temptation to touch the elf can be too much sometimes...Madeleine had to be reminded the first few times but now she knows! (Our elf is named Carter)
