Ruby Poodle.

Our sweet little Ruby passed away Thursday, April 1st........just before her 10th Birthday. She became sick in the morning.......and was gone by the afternoon. There was no sign and no warning. I am so thankful that I was on my way to Lexington when this happened and was able to hold her one last time. Scooter (my nickname for her) was literally like a family member and we miss her so much. As many of you know she went to live with my parents while we were in Switzerland. It was intended to be a temporary living arrangement but by the time we returned to the US (3 years later) she and my parents were way too attached! We knew it would be the best for everyone if she stayed with them. We were lucky to see her every few weeks.........she was the most patient, kind, mild mannered dog you could ask for. Even when Allie came into the picture Ruby was so good with her.....Allie referred to her as Boobie.........always saying, "where Boobie go?"
