Prest-o Change-o

Over Christmas Break, I decided to paint the Dining Room! I'd been wanting to for a long time and thought what the heck?.........When we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago, we'd just relocated from Switzerland, we were living in a hotel in Peoria, Illinois (3 hours away from our home construction), and I was pregnant...... there were only so many decisions I could make at the time. After the zillionth decision on tile, motar, countertops, etc........I was tapped out! I'd picked out some of the room colors upstairs but I told the painter to paint the entire first floor yellow! We've slowly repainted room by room in lovely deep browns, greens, and reds..........and I (WE) love it! Here is the latest room......it's called "Chili Pepper"

We only had one minor incident.....

Here is the color before.....it a nice, neutral yellow but BORING! The furniture basically disappeared into the wall!

While I'm at it.....here is another example.......boring yellow kitchen/hallway....

Now a festive Green!!
